European Upskilling of Students for Sustainable Entrepreneurship

EU2SE is an Erasmus+ funded project focusing on enhancing sustainable entrepreneurship education through a Virtual Training Programme and collaborative events like Entrepreneurship Weeks. It brings together students and teachers from four countries and Universities:

  • France, University of Caen Normandie
  • Finland, Lapland University of Applied Sciences
  • North Macedonia, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje
  • Spain, Universidad de Valladolid

The project will also deliver events and a guidebook for sustainable entrepreneurship training.

Project objectives

The objective is to enhance the capabilities of HE institutions and development of the skills of young individuals in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship.

A solid partnership between universities in France, Spain, Finland and North Macedonia will enable the exchange of ideas and resources to develop a programme designed to address contemporary student needs in entrepreneurial proficiency.

What we will do?

The synergy between 20 specialized academics from the four European HE institutions will support the creation of a 1) Virtual Training Programme to offer knowledge and awareness regarding current challenges to motivated entrepreneurship-minded students. As a complement, 2) two Entrepreneurship Weeks will be organized, gathering a cohort of 80 students from different educational levels and fields. 3) An EU network of academics dealing with sustainable entrepreneurship working together with the regional economic communities will also be established. Additionally, 4) A Handbook on the development of intercultural and sustainable entrepreneurship training will be produced.

Results and impact

1- create an EU network of academics dealing with sustainable entrepreneurship working together with the regional economic communities (chambers of commerce/business support bodies/incubators/ etc.)
2- develop a 6 weeks Virtual Training Programme for students to learn about sustainable EU entrepreneurship and set up a platform that the students would use to display their talent and/or business ideas
3- organize 2 Entrepreneurship Weeks for the students integrating open conferences, hackathon (48 hours) and/or serious game (Lego4Scrum: client-centered game, retrospective), mentorship, visit of entrepreneurial ecosystems

These activities answer the need to increase the number of innovative young entrepreneurs in Europe so as to create the jobs of the future for the generation of the future.
